This post is EXPLICITLY dedicated to Vandita Kapila...
and is a reply to her post Men will be Men.
I read your blog and as I already told you its war, Vandita.
I do not deny 'completely' whatever you wrote, thou It seemed a bit extreme.
There are many things that you said are not much of a justification to women's feelings rather a direct attack on male sentiments. Yes, 'sentiments', the female versions of readers of this blog may doubt my comment. They may ask, 'Since when did men have sentiments? Its just their ego thats hurt. They do not have sentiments.'
Answer me this, What makes you think so? just cuz you generally don't find a guy crying with his face in pillow, does it mean they do not have sentiments, or they are simply heartless. Readers are requested to read Vandita's blog again she mentions clearly that men too need that emotional support.
I really want to make a BOLD statement here:
Girls can never be like guys, neither guys can be like girls. After all they are far beyond what a female can ever be.
Making such a statement satisfies my ego. Making an exact opposite statement satisfies a females ego. Thats it.
Now take a look at this situation, I met a girl on my way to NOIDA, on a blueline bus. She came rushing from the front door, and asked a man sitting at the ladies seat( so called reserved for ladies) to get up. You might say there is nothing unusual in doing so. Sure its not, after all the seat has been reserved for them. Here I would like to ask the feminists, If you are so independent, so equal, why in the green hell do you ask for such reservations. Here you will find another class of people(men and women both) who would say the government has made it a rule to give them reserved seats, hence it is their RIGHT. Like all living beings women have the right to fight for their rights. Fine, I give up on this. Now tell me this, the woman on our blueline bus I mentioned, did not ask the guy to give up his seat, rather she was the rudest woman I ever saw. Her words were: 'Hey mister, dikhayi nahi deta kya? ladies seat hai.' And we get to hear men cant behave properly. I have had a particular habit, If by chance I happen to sit at the ladies side, and a women boards the bus. I always gave her my seat willingly even before she asked. Not only me, I'm sure there will be many more men like me, who do so. How many times do such men get a thanks in return for such a gesture. I never got one. A simple thanks may give the feeling of being appreciated, a feeling of having done something good. And then you say women are more understanding, well behaved etc etc...
Guys are generally assumed to be quarrelsome at least in comparison to girls. But you must have noticed you might find guys who were rivals at one time are best friends some other day. Can you say the same for girls? NO. I have never seen rival girls become friends even after having everything settled between them. There is however a strange catch. If its a guy against a girl, you will find almost all other girls in favor of the poor little girl. It never matters whose fault it is, Who the real culprit is. The truth is simply what the female says. It has happened almost everywhere till date. (Exceptions are there) To support my point, I suggest you watch the movie 'Aitraaz'.
You also say that women are more loyal than men. I'd say I agree on the fact if you consider the depth of loyalty, women do surpass men. but if you consider the count men surely surpass women. Cases of women's infidelity definitely outnumber those of men. Don't go by my word, you can google through the internet for international surveys. Its just that since our great-great ancestors used to marry many, we are disloyal. But the fact is even then they were married and the cheating was mostly done by females. So now whom do you blame.
Its the girls who enjoy the looks that boys give them, Its the girls who flaunt there bodies in skimpy clothes, Its the girls who love to be in center of attraction. and still they ask, "why do boys give so much attention to girls?"
I did not write this blog to continue the fight, thou I started by saying Its a war. I just want to say, men will be men... and ladkiyan hamesha ladkiyan rahengi...
There is no point in discussing why, how, and till when... some things in nature are meant to be like this.
Those who are not in agreement with either my blog or Vandita's blog please read the book, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus"
Its an entertaining book, and when you start reading it you will find many things that you knew men or women do but never took notice of them.
Good Luck... :)
